From 2021 to 2025 I served as Multimedia Design Manager for Workhuman’s customer portal, owning all video strategy and production for the platform. This included both the launch videos that introduced each major release and the video content within the portal itself, such as training, onboarding, and feature explainers for enterprise customers.
As the lead for video, I created, managed, and updated the platform’s library to ensure content was accurate, engaging, and aligned with product evolution. Across four years, Customer Central (later Workhuman Connect) became the central hub for Workhuman’s enterprise clients, reaching CEOs, CPOs, Program Managers, and HR leaders at companies such as Pepsi, State Street, and UnitedHealth Group.

Workhuman Connect Launch (2025)
🎯 Purpose: Announce a completely rebuilt Customer Central, renamed Workhuman Connect, featuring a new community forum and expanded functionality, with  Gainsight as the new Learning Management System (LMS).

Website Role: Supported full site migration, developed a video player and thumbnail workaround requiring a single-frame lead-in for all videos, and provided design feedback and bug tickets.

Video Role: Led concept, design, and edit of the 2025 video, and collaborated on script development with Charles Dane, Olivia Kohn, and Tirrill Black, using the 2023 template as a foundation. 

Challenge: Delivered the video within the same week of site launch, relying on screenshots and recordings while the site was being built. This rollout was a company-wide initiative involving multiple departments and high-level oversight. 


Outcome: Reinforced Workhuman Connect as a central hub for customers, driving awareness and adoption of new tools and services while perserving the familiar style and tone that customers recognized from Customer Central. 
Customer Central Re-Launch (2023)
🎯 Purpose: Showcase a  redesigned Customer Central with expanded features and benefits while guiding users through relocated functionality.

Website Role: Assisted with UX decisions for the overall site, designed all embedded video assets, and maintained visual consistency across the platform.

Video Role: Led concept, design, and edit of the 2023 video. Collaborated on script development (Lead writer: Jillian Ho-Lung).

Challenge: As with the 2022 version, this video was delivered within the same week of launch, relying on screenshots and recordings of the live site.


Outcome: Provided a polished and informative video asset that was later adopted by Sales as an official demo tool for prospective clients. 
Customer Central Launch (2022)
🎯 Purpose: Debut Workhuman's first customer resource portal.

Website Role: Collaborated with Design, Comms & Customer Success teams to shape the structure, functionality, and user flow of the initial Customer Central platform release, built on Skilljar LMS.

Video Role: Implemented concept, design, and edit of a launch hype video.

Challenge: Due to technical restrictions, there was a reliance on screenshots and recordings of the unpublished site, as the video and site needed to launch concurrently.


Outcome: Established the foundation for Customer Central’s user experience and successfully marketed this first-of-its' kind platform to Workhuman Customers, all while designing and launching the initial video suite. 
Development phase (2021)
🎯 Purpose: Lay the groundwork for Workhuman's first customer-facing portal. 

🎥 Video Role: Designed the video content strategy for the portal, creating the first wave of educational and customer success video content. 

Challenge: With no video team, and no prior foundation, this platform was a lean and completely built from scratch.  


Outcome: Built the foundation for a scalable video library and delivery system that would expand with Customer Central and later Workhuman Connect.
