Designed LED screen content for Ice Spice’s Saturday Night Live Season 49 performance, featuring “Pretty Girl (Ft. Rema)” and “In Ha Mood.” Called in with just one week to turnaround a new visual concept, I translated the artist’s vision into bold, playful visuals while navigating cultural sensitivity.
Using tribal patterns as a nod to her Nigerian heritage, I abstracted them through AI before animating to avoid misrepresentation. I also pulled from her album art to create whimsical, over-the-top elements including blinking eyes, doodled hair, and playful motifs, resulting in a cohesive, eye-catching set that elevated the live broadcast.
